Sondra "Sandy" Kay McGrath

Oceanside, NY – Services will be held for Sondra “Sandy” McGrath, 74, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Hwy. 80, Haughton, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Sandy entered into rest on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013, after a brief illness. Sandy had many jobs throughout her life but she considered herself a mother, grandmother and homemaker first.

Sandy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John “Jack” McGrath. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia “Missy” Lawrence; three sons, John McGrath and wife Anna, Dan McGrath and Tim McGrath and wife Alona; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Travis, Daniel and wife Cheryn, Ryan and wife Kimber, Travis, TJ and wife Tiffany, Mike, Greg, Tiffany and Kinessa and husband Chad; 7 great-grandchildren, Ariana, Emalee, Kyla, Angelina, Ashton, Alyssa and Christian; brother, Charles Elkins; and sister, Mary Ann Jenkins.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McGrath, Ryan McGrath, Travis McGrath, TJ McGrath, Mike Ploof and Greg Lawrence. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Caniff and Travis Harvey.
