Steven Parker

Steven Drew Parker, age 37, of Minden, Louisiana passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Drew was born February 15, 1989, in Bossier City , Louisiana to Steve Parker and Yvette Price.

A dedicated student from an early age, Drew was an honor student at Richardson School for five years (ages 6–11) and went on to graduate from Minden High School. His determination was evident throughout his life, most notably in his successful battle against lung cancer.

During his high school years, Drew enjoyed football, basketball, baseball, science, and swimming. His greatest passion, however, was fishing. He treasured weekends spent watching games with his Granny. Drew also loved spending time with his children, hunting, and gathering family and friends around the grill, where he enjoyed cooking and sharing meals.

Drew is survived by his daughters, Paige, Aubreigh, and Stevie Parker; sons, Bryce and Hudson Parker; brother, Connor Price; mother, Yvette Price; uncle and aunt; David and Tina Price; grandson, Rowan Parker; aunt, Cheryl Whatley; aunt, Sally Pope, and great aunt, Orlette Gibson.

Drew and his grandma, Yvonne entered eternal life together. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Parker; grandparents Marie Parker, Thomas Parker, Yvonne Price; aunt, Terri Parker; great uncle Billy Gibson, and great grandmother LaVerne Ballard.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
