

Thelma’s long life was marked by steady service and skilled hands. She worked as a beautician, a nurse’s aide, and an LPN, dedicating many years to caring for others at Bossier General Hospital in Bossier City, where she continued working until she was in her late 70s. Beyond her professional calling, she was also a seamstress, bringing patience and craftsmanship to all she did.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Theron Saxton O'Bier; her second husband, Clyde Beaty; as well as John O'Bier and Carrie Peggie O'Bier.
Those left to cherish her memory are Don O'Bier, Derllie Brashier, and Pattie Small and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, 2016 from 9 until 10 a.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home, with funeral services immediately following at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Gevan Spinney will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Atlanta Baptist Cemetery in Atlanta, Arkansas.
The family wishes to thank Bristol Hospice, as well as the numerous caregivers and friends who took special care of Thelma.
