

Theresa Redanauer, 66, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born September 10, 1959, Theresa will be remembered as a generous, faithful, kind-hearted, and thoughtful woman whose life reflected deep love for others and steadfast devotion to her faith.
Theresa pursued her education with purpose and determination, earning a Bachelor in Education at NSU in Natchitoches, LA. Theresa also completed Physical Training at ETBU and went on to receive a Masters in Education from Centenary College in Shreveport.
Theresa devoted more than 20 years to teaching in the Caddo Parish School Systems. She loved all her students with a huge heart, and her care for them extended far beyond the classroom. Her work as an educator was not only a career, but a calling—one carried out with patience, compassion, and sincere commitment.
Family was deeply important to Theresa. She especially cherished her great niece, Addison Michelle Tyson, a recent addition to the family, whom Theresa loved unconditionally.
Theresa found joy and peace in simple pleasures. She enjoyed being in Florida on the beach and reading, and at the time of her passing, she was preparing to move to her property in Florida.
Theresa’s legacy is one of selflessness and love. She always put others before herself and had a huge heart. Above all, Theresa’s life was anchored in faith and in love for Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
Theresa was preceded in death by parents, Francis M and Joyce L. Redanauer; grandparents, Gerald and Helen Lynch and John and Catherine Redanauer; aunt, Geraldine Cooper; aunt, Susie Lynch; and uncle, Mark Dailey.
Theresa is survived by sister, Lisa R. Pumphrey (Timothy); nephew, Derick M. Tyson (Shelby); great niece, Addison M. Tyson; numerous cousins; and Lulu, her devoted dog.
