Thomas Craig Reach, of Bossier City, LA passed away at Willis Knighton North, at the age of 65, Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, from a brief illness. His family was beside him as he left his earthly body and gained his angel wings at Heaven’s gates.
Craig was born July 30, 1958, to Walter Thomas and Dorris Peggy Reach. Craig worked 30 years for Libbey Glass, Shreveport, Hot End Forming Operator, Cold End Operator. While working at Libbey, Craig served on many committees: United Way, Paint your Heart Out, Union Rep for the Local 711. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman, but most of all he was a dedicated Husband and father.
Craig was preceded in death by both parents, Walter (Buddy) and Dorris Peggy Reach.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathy Reach; his sons Daniel and wife Shelby, Cj and wife Kim, and Spencer and wife Kelsie; daughter, Kim Maxwell; sister, Michelle and husband Mark Pickett; grandchildren Easton, Wesley, Mason, Cameron, Cayden, Courtney, and Shelby; great grandchildren, Stella, Arabella and Axton; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Services honoring Craig's life will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 2:00pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Zack Fleming with Michael Kimble conducting the eulogy. Visitation will be held prior to service time Monday, May 20, 2024 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 5pm until 7pm.
Pallbearers for Craig will be Mark Pickett (Honorary), Luis Mason, Anthony Lamont, Thomas Lamb, Nathan Snook, and Lucas Snook
Following the funeral services, we would like to have all our family and friends, come to celebrate Craigs life, we will have food and share memories. One thing Craig enjoyed was being on the water, but his biggest love in life was feeding family and friends. We will never taste another Brisket as good as Craigs.
