Tina Denise Skinner

SHREVEPORT, LA – Services celebrating the life of Tina Denise Mason Skinner, 53, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Rocky Maddox officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and there will also be an opportunity for visitation an hour prior to the service.

Ms. Skinner was born as Tina D. Mason and lived in Shreveport, LA for 20 years. March 15th 2016 she breathed her last breath on earth, yet her first in heaven. Tina never met a stranger and touched many lives.

She was preceded in death by her father, SSgt. Donald E. Mason and Lily Mae Mason. She is survived by brothers; Randall E. Mason and wife Karen, Russell C. Mason and wife Denise and Christopher Mason; sisters, Chuqieta G. Kenny and husband Charles and Crystal Mason and Tina’s partner; Mel Yawn. She was a cherished aunt of several nieces and nephews. Her extended family includes Jimmy and Laura Jordan, Rusty and Brooke Harris and their daughters Lauren and Kaitlyn Harris, and many, many close friends.

On behalf of the family a special note of gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from all who knew her. Additionally, to Aunt Frances St. Andry, Laura Jordan, Brooke Harris and Mel Yawn for their special touch in arranging the celebration for Tina.

Honorary pallbearers will be Willie St. Andry, Jr. and Timothy St. Andry. Pallbearers will be Roy Rawls, Doug Lauter, Johnny Berry, Eddie Salzar, Rusty Harris and Charles Kenney.
