Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Bro. Gerald Palmer, Westlake Baptist Church, Doyline, LA will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also loved joining the group at church “Forever Young” and playing Mexican Train.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, D.C. Maddox and Lucille Pollard and husband of 25 years, Charlie Landry.
She is survived by her children: Steve Landry and wife Ruth, Ricky Landry, Shae Gaskin and husband Jimmy, and Sharonda Vizcaino and husband Javier; brother, Douglas Maddox and wife Nancy and sister, Louise Jeter. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
