William “Larry” Beverly, 76, of Bossier City, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 following a brief illness. Born in Tacoma Park, Maryland he had lived in Kingsport, Tennessee most of his life, spending the past several years in Bossier City, Louisiana near grandchildren. He was a 35-year employee of Eastman Chemical Company, and was an Elder at Oakwood Forest Christian Church for many years where he faithfully served the congregation. Larry was most recently a member of First Baptist of Bossier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Evagene Beverly of Kingsport.
Larry is survived by his wife, Bonnie Beverly, and his children; Steve Beverly (Shree), Kris Jameson (Rob), and Dan Beverly (Kristi); brother, Gary Beverly (Kitty); 9 grandchildren, Robbie, Kaitlin, Rachel (Jordan), Jake (Whitney), Ryan, Drew, Caroline, Will, and Annette; and 4 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton. A memorial service will be held in Kingsport, Tennessee on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Oakwood Forest Christian Church. A private family graveside service will be held following the memorial service.
