A Celebration of Life for Stan Rockett, 62, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Justin Haigler, Pastor of The Simple Church. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2019, also at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Rockett was born August 22, 1956, in Shreveport, LA to Audrey P. Rockett and Ben (Rocky) Rockett and passed away on January 3, 2019 in Haughton, LA.

Stan was a member of Red Chute Church of Christ, the Red River Rapid Riders, and a longtime member of the Hawkeye Hunting Club. He was self employed and owner of D & R Drywall and Rockett Improvements.

Stan's father, Ben R. Rockett; mother, Audrey P. Rockett; brothers, Lindsey and Wayne Chandler; and sister, Dawn Wahlstrom precede him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Christy Rockett; son, Collin W. Rockett and wife Kelly of Benton, LA; daughter, Natalie Rockett of Bossier City, LA; two grandchildren, Kyson and Kyleigh Rockett; brothers, Mickey and wife Sally Chandler of Rowlett, TX, and Ben Rockett of Haynesville, LA; sisters, Rita House of Minden, LA, Brenda Howe of San Diego, CA, and Judy Kent of Sandersville, GA; and a host of other family members.

Stan's long time family and friends, Jimmy Barton, Jodie Rhodes, Trent Northam, Danny Rockett, Mark Purvis, Jeff Craven, Matt Roberts, and Albert Joes will honor him as Honorary Pallbearers.
