Yvonne Price

A graduate of business school, Yvonne devoted her professional life to public service, serving as a secretary for the State of Louisiana with the steady diligence.

Above all else, Yvonne’s most prized accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, and she took deep pride in the family she nurtured across generations.

Yvonne is survived by her sister, Orlette Gibson; her son, David Price and wife Tina Price; her daughter, Yvette Price and husband Raymond Post; her grandson, Connor Price; her great-granddaughters, Paige, Aubreigh and Stevie Parker; her great-grandsons, Bryce and Hudson Parker; and her great-great grandson, Rowan Parker.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Steven Drew Parker; her brother, Billy Gibson; her father, O.W. Anyan; and her mother, LaVerne Gettis Emerson.

The family extends sincere gratitude to Lois Jones, devoted sitter and friend of Yvonne.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, with Don Francis, Chaplain Lifepath Hospice, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
