It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alan H. Rosenblut of Rye Brook, New York (formerly of the Bronx and New City, NY) at the age of 90. Alan was a devoted husband to Linda, who predeceased him, the adored father of Michael and Joanna, and beloved grandfather to Lucy, Josh, Jake and Emily. Alan was a proud graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, City College, and Columbia University. Alan had an extensive career in health care management. In 1972 he was the first Executive Director of the Morrisania Neighborhood Family Clinic, followed by two decades as the Executive Director of Gouverneur Hospital, part of the NYC HHC. Alan concluded his career as the CEO of the St. Barnabas Nursing Home in the Bronx. Throughout his lifetime, he was a proud member of the Healthcare Executives Club, where he was well-respected by all his colleagues, for his acumen in the field of long-term care.
