I just heard of Arthur's passing. Arthur was a wonderful man and I treasure memories of him at Interiors, as does my husband Ross Garnick, in fact we talk about him  frequently  and fondly and reference his Arthurism's. In his honor when my Ross wears a brimmed hat it is called a "Brody", when an unsolicited orders to advertise come in I say 'it came through the transom' just like Arthur did.   I learned so much from Arthur,  but mostly he was a friend,  he was ahead of his time  in that he built relationships with people of all ages. I enjoyed his company and hearing about where he ate every night with Marcia, his love for the Yankees, I'm glad to his final resting place isn't too far from  Babe Ruth. 

I've includes a photo of the Interiors gang  around 1986 or 87 at a sales meeting in Chicago before Neocon. You will see Arthur  standing in the center in the back looking dashing, John Rouse next to him, Joe Frank with the beard, Dennis seated in the front in the light colored jacket, I'm in the  polka dot top. Beverly Russell over to the left, Janine Johnson on Arthur's right and Angie Beverly's assistant Angie, with the dark hair on the right. Next to Beverly is Greg, and the other seated gentlemen I can't remember. 




I worked with Arthur in the late eighties and early nineties while we were both at Interiors Magazine. I loved his true New Yorker style of "lets get it done and the infamous publishing line - "are you in or not?". He was a great gentleman and I'm sure he will be missed dearly by all that knew him. RIP Arthur.

Since Arthur had his birthday on March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, we would never need an excuse to celebrate....Arthur's Birthday!

 It is so sad to see Arthur Brody pass away. He was a true professional who called on me as Adv./PR Director at Couristan Rugs and Broadloom in late 70s. He was also a mentor in the world of advertising sales when he helped me join Interiors Magazine in December of 1980. We would work together for more than a decade. He, Bob Reidinger and I would have lunch at least once or twice a week in the neighborhood of 1515 Broadway. This included eating at the same place as the actor who played Commander Klink on Hogan's Heroes, and going to a favorite deli/restaurant on 38th St., E. of 6th for a soup and half sandwich, along with a Dr. Brown diet celray soda. Thank you Arthur for your kind mentorship and friendship. I'll miss your yearly holiday greeting card.

I just heard of Arthur's passing today.  I worked with him at Interiors Magazin back in the 90's.  He was a wonderful man.  We stayed in touch every Christmas.  He adored Marcia, his children and his grandkids.  Always bragging about their soccer and academic achievements.  I am sorry I was unaware of his services, but send my love to his beloved family.  He was a true gentleman.
