I found out today at the annual R.H.H.S. Retirees Luncheon of Diane's passing. My jaw hung open as I remembered her fondly for the years that she was the Science A.P.  Always smiling, always willing to lend a hand - a genuine person.  Another reminder that bad things do happen to good people.

Please accept my sincere condolences on Diane's passing. I was devastated when I heard. To know Diane was to Love her. She will be sorely missed.

My condolences to the Pillersdorf family, she welcomed the Manhattan Hunter HS students, when it first opened, with open arms. Although just one year with her, it was probably the best year of them all. Thank you for the great and positive influence you had on all of us.

Ms.Pillersdorf, you ARE my high school principal. Although you were only at my school for one year, you set the standard for everyone that followed, and nobody lived up to it. That alone displayed how one of a kind you were. Thank You.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Diane was a colleague at Richmond Hill High School. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I can not begin to put into words her influence on my professional career. She was my mentor, friend and supervisor. She made such a tremendous difference in the lives of so many students. My deepest condolences to the family.

Please accept my sincere condolences on Diane's passing. I had the honor to be her first supervisor at JHS 217Q. She was a dear friend and colleague for more than 40 years. Our paths crossed at JHS 217Q, Columbus HS, Richmond Hill HS, and Region 5 Science teacher training. I will surely miss her intellecr, character and friendship.
