Robyn, Wendy and family,

Kim, Guy, Alan and I send our heartfelt condolences on your loss. We will always remember Dorye’s million dollar Farah Fawcett smiles and her constant glow of positivity. She always had such amazing energy.  I’ll never forget our dinners as we sang What’s it all about Alfie while your Alfie and Pierre would collectively howl/sing along as we cracked up laughing. What great times we all shared growing up across the street from each other, so innocently with barely a care in the world.  We send our love to you.  It’s heartbreaking. A two year battle. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Dorye’s family and friends. I was so sorry to hear this devastating news. I have known Dorye since the first grade and shared many amazing memories. She was an inspiration to so many, and had one of the biggest hearts I have ever known. Although we had not spoken in awhile, I always felt that when we did connect we went right back to where we left off. She was a genuine loving and caring person, and I know that she will be missed  by so many.

Was so sad to hear of Dorye's passing.  It's been years since we've crossed paths (high school & beyond) but I so clearly remember her warmth and genuineness, that light up a room smile and her quick-witted humor.  Sending deepest sympathy to you all.

To Wendy, Robyn and all extended family, I am so unbelievably saddened and sorry to learn of Dorye's passing.  My condolences and heart goes out to all of you. While I hadn't seen Dorye in decades, Wendy kept me filled in and the warm, fun and fond memories never faded and will continue to live on. I will never forget Dorye.  I was trying to reach her the past few weeks. I so wish I had.  Peace, strength and love to you all.

Some of the most memorable times of my life were when I worked as a counselor at Timber Ridge during my college years.  Dorye was special to me and was one of the main reasons I loved returning to camp.   
I was shocked and saddened to learn that she had passed away.  My condolences to her family.

Dorye was a very close friend and confidant for many years.  We worked together at Holly Hunt in the early 2000's.  Her advice was golden to me.  She helped me through some very hard times.   A beautiful person taken too soon.  I love you Dorye.

Our families grew up together at Bonnieview country club, and I went to school with Dorye through the years at Pikesville….. Whenever I would run into Dorye through the years, she always had that beautiful, genuine smile, and really cared how you were doing.

The last time I saw Dorye was at her mom Shiva in 2021.

Wendy, Robyn, and the entire extended  Brown family, please accept my deepest condolences on Dorye’s untimely passing. Lots of great memories from Baltimore growing up in 70’s Pikesville with the Brown sisters. Let her memory be a blessing to all that knew and loved her.

My wife Ilene and children Michael and Jon knew  Dorye when she grew up in Baltimore. We were heart sick to learn that she died. Last year she attended a funeral in Baltimore and Dore came over and gave me a warm and affectionate greeting after not seeing her for many years. That was Dorye. She was a ray of sunshine, warmth, and kindness
that makes this loss painful.

Such sunshine Dorye brought to our world ! Her outer and inner beauty,  laugh ,smile ,and contagious  joy was a magnet for her childhood Baltimore friends as well as newer ones made in New York . And her courage —- what courage as she battled cancer ferociously. With her husband Steven , sons Sam and Matt , sisters Robin and Wendy, Aunts, Uncles , cousins - she sustained us all. The baby of the family has departed too soon but her memory and legacy will live on forever.               Aunt Susie and Uncle Jerry
