I was a patient of Dr. Weinfeld Since 1970. He did all the work himself. From root canals to basic oral hygiene. He would never let me walk out of the office without using my pain.  I could always rely on him. He will be missed

So sorry to hear. He was such a great guy. We played many fun rounds of golf together. Him and my Dad Dr Berkoff were close. My sympathy to the family. Goodbye my friend.

my sister and i were saddened to learn of ed's demise

he was our family dentist for decades, including our parents who passed away many years ago

ed was one of the strong influences who helped me decide to go to dental school - specifically NYU

i eventually became a board certified maxillofacial surgeon, training at the harvard-massachusetts general hospital program and taking the plastic surgical portion of my training under nobel laureate and famed plastic/transplant surgeon dr joseph murray

alas, it all began in your husband's/father's office

Dear Deanna,
I just learned of Dr. Weinfeld's passing.  He was my family's dentist for forty years.  I grew up with him as my dentist.  He was truly a great practitioner..  He always took such good care if me.  Over the years, I learned that he also had a wonderful sense of humor.  I'm saddened beyond words.

Dr. weinfeld was not only a brillant man, an excellent dentist but always a true friend to everyone. May Deanna and family find consolation in his achievements and bless them with peace. Dear Deanna and Family,

We are so saddened to learn of your dear husband Edwin's loss.  We were just thinking of him recently and wanted to go back home and visit him and also receive his expertise again.  We were both shocked to have just found out and read his obituary.  He was a great professional, our best Dentist and Friend and we will truly miss him.  With our deepest sympathy and love always.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your  loving family on Ed's untimely passing.  He was not just our dentist; we considered him a friend of long-standing.  On occasion he wold ask me rhetorically why we travel about 60 miles each way to be treated by him, saying to us that we must pass by 1,000 competent dentists to get to his office.

Dear Mrs. Weinfeld,

John and I are saddend by your husband's death.  We saw the ambulance on Thursday but hoped for the best.  Your husband had a excellent sense of humor.  He always laughed at my jokes.  In addition, he was always encouraging - telling me how much weight I lost and how well I took care of Suzy.  

When I was learning to drive he said, "Keep your eyes on the road and nowhere else."  I still do that today.  He even congratulated me when I got my license.  

You have lost a great husband, and we have lost a friend.
