Evelyn Heide Wexler was born to the late Morris and Sarah Sussman, former owners of Stanley Stores in New Rochelle. She was predeceased by Harold Heide in 1969 after 20 years of marriage and predeceased by Samuel Wexler in 2003 after 25 years of marriage. She is survived by her children: Michele (Stuart) of White Plains, Clifford (Ruth) of Phoenix and Richard (Arlene) of Eastchester; brother: Robert Sussman; and adoring grandchildren: Jodie, Eric, Alex, and Sara. Evelyn will be remembered for her friendliness, generosity, and love of family. Graveside Service will be at Mt. Eden Cemetery in Hawthorne. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY or to Christopher Reeve Spinal Cord Injury and Paralysis Foundation.
