Glenn Guior

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Glenn Guior, a larger than life man of energy, intelligence, and generosity. Glenn was born on February 24, 1958 and passed away on January 16, 2026.

Throughout his life, Glenn relentlessly pursued and pushed others around him to enjoy life to the fullest. His touched many lives with his spirit, generosity and willingness to help those around him.

Glenn worked for many years as a successful labor attorney at Merck & Co., Inc. During that time, Glenn received many accolades for his work to negotiate important contracts between labor and management.

Glenn’s magnetism and charisma drew many people to him and he left this world with a great number of close friends and family who will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his loving brother Rick and wife Barbara, niece Sonia and husband Weston, nephew Alex, Aunt Joyce, cousins Bobby, Doreen, Lorrie, Ken, Ellen, Susan, Lisa and many, many beloved friends. Donations can be made in the name Glenn Guior to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A funeral service celebrating Glenn’s life will be held on January 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Chapel at 100 Saw Mill River Road, Hawthorne, NY. A link to the livestream of the service can be found here: https://www.legacycelebrated.com/glenn-guior/

A committal service will follow at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, located at 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY, 10595, United States, on January 21, 2026.
