Gloria F. Barouch

Gloria Barouch, age 91, most recently of Scarsdale, NY passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Gloria was born in 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to Rebecca and Joseph. She graduated from Girl’s Commercial High School. She was formally married to Harvey Charloff. Later she fell in love with Hy Barouch, and were married 1982. They had 21 wonderful years together before he died in 2003. Gloria had many names. She was mom to Laurie and step-mom to Norman, Andrea, and Dennis who passed away in 2004. She loved being a grandmother to Meridith and Robert, Jason and Ricky, Nicole and Benjamin, Oren and Jessica. Gloria was also a sister-in-law, aunt, great-grandma, cousin, and friend to many. She loved to knit, cook, celebrate holidays, sit by the pool, play cards, especially mahjong, watch old classic movies and Disney cartoons and musicals. Gloria was strong, willful, and generous. She will be missed by family and friends, far and wide.

A chapel service will be held Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Following the chapel service will be an interment at Belth El-Cedar Park Cemetery, Emmerson, New Jersey.
