J. Scott Langworthy

Born in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Judith V. (Funicelle) Langworthy.

In addition to his parents, Scott was predeceased by brother, Christopher L. Langworthy; nephew, Joseph G. Langworthy; and in-laws, Floyd H. and Mary E. (Everts) Martindale; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Scott married his soul mate and best friend the former Holly G. Martindale on October 28, 2000 in Lake George. Together they researched their family histories, accumulating over 23,000 individuals in their data base and traveled, including crossing the pond four times to visit the land of their ancestors.

Scott was employed by Tribune Media Services as a system analyst for thirty years.

In addition to his wife, Scott is survived by his brother, Edmund and his wife Dawn (Fischer) Langworthy and their son, Ian, Gray, ME, his niece and godchild, Cristin Langworthy, Providence, RI, and his nephew, Hunter Langworthy, Swanzey, NH; his in-laws and their spouses, Floyd H. and Suzanne (Tracy) Martindale, North Fort Myers, FL.; Susan J. and Charles T. Mellon, Lake George, and Bette J. and Robert E. Bevins, Atlanta, GA; Uncle Roger and Heather Langworthy, Glens Falls, Uncle Thomas Ryder, Thousand Oaks, CA, plus several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
