She attended Erasmus Hall High School where she graduated with honors. Her mother, Edith Rosen was in the First graduating class of Brooklyn College. Joan attended Brooklyn College and graduated in 1966.
She worked for IBM in New York City and in 1985 she went to Law School at Pace University in White Plains and was on the Law Review.
After graduating Law School, she worked for the General Services Agency of the Federal Government. She retired in the year 2008. Soon afterwards, she moved to the Polo Club in Boca Raton Florida. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, David.
Funeral Services for Joan were held Thursday, May 22, 2025 10:00 AM at The Riverside Memorial Chapel-Hawthorne, 100 Saw Mill River Rd, Hawthorne, NY 10532. Following Services, interment was at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue Valhalla, New York 10595.
