My condolences to the family.  I just became aware of his passing.

It's been a pleasure to have had a business relationship with Mr. Silverman for a long time.  Over the last ten years, he has helped scores of my patients achieve and maintain healthier lifestyles by providing state of the art custom shoes.  He was always proud of his product and delighted to serve his customers and patients.  I had the pleasure of meeting him in Dallas at a convention a few years back, and appreciated his direct and meaningful candor.  My prayers and thoughts go out to the family of this caring, respectable man. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened to learn about this tragic loss of a longtime colleague and friend. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. I will forever smile when I think of Kenny.

I just found out this tragic news.  I'm so very sorry for the loss of this man who so many loved.  I know Ellyn, and met Ken only once, when he was loading his truck to bring Easter baskets to needy families in Bridgeport, CT.  He was all smiles.  May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences go out to Ken's loved ones.  I was constantly lifted by his kindness and enthusiasm, and he never failed to bring a smile to my face.  He was quick to help me whenever I needed it, and just as quick to make a joke to lighten the load.  His words of sympathy when my husband passed were special and more than comforting; I have to say they were sustaining.   Ken was special, and I am glad to have known him.  My prayers are with his family, friends, and his spirit.

It was my pleasure to first meet Ken Silverman through his wife,  Dr. Ellyn Shander Silverman. He was to me kind and open and though I was first Ellyn's friend he welcomed me.  Their wedding was a fairytale one and it lasted until he left all of us. He made Ellyn so very happy as I know he did his closest loved one. The suddenness of his passing calls up in me the deepest sympathy and compassion for his wife and family. As someone else said he was larger than life with an unbeatable smile. For all who lost him I wish that his spirit and love of life and others remain true in all of your days to come. My prayers are with you all and for Kenny in his journey to another kind of paradise.

It was my pleasure to work for the Silverman family for over 50 years. They were all the most giving and compassionate people to work for. We've always considered them as part of our family and they always treated me and my family as a part of theirs.  Kenny and Buddy were the godparents of our daughter Dawn Hayes Russo. He was a great humanitarian. Rest in peace my brother. Bob and Del Hayes.

He Was My Godfather I Loved him Very Much. He Was Always Part Of Our   Family For Many Many Years. We All Loved Him , His Mom , Dad , Brother Buddy  & His Family  Jon & Julie Very Much.He Loved Everyone Very Much He Always Took Good Care Of People All Over The World.
