My mother Arona Parker looked forward to the newspaper clippings from Madeline and would share them with us when we came back to visit.  They were very close friends and colleagues.

Madeline was a dear dear friend of my mother, Arona McDougald Parker. She spoke to my mother the day before my mother passed and we spoke often after my mother's passing. She was a stalwart friend. May her memory be a blessing.

Madeline was a devoted and  dear friend of my mother. They talked weekly for years after they retired from MT Vernon's School System. We cherish her paintings several of which hang in our home.

Madeline will be missed!  Madeline was kind to my mother, Mimi, who in turn had been kind to Madeline and her Mom, Irene.  She telephoned my mother frequently when she moved to California to live with me.  We last saw Madeline in Mt. Vernon for lunch before my Mom moved to California . will miss  my weekly clippings from aunt madeline who perused the wall st journal and nyt daily...her mind was so sharp till her body shut down...she is now with her brother and family in the stern cloud... we will always love!
