Margaret A. Spolter

Peggy was born Margaret Ann Schroeder on October 12, 1933. She grew up in a loving household in Nanuet, New York with five siblings, Katherine, George, Richard, Mary Lou, and Susie. She is survived by brother Richard Schroeder and his wife, Helen, sister Mary Lou Roggemann and her husband, Paul and her many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly. She married the love of her life, Allan, in 1973 and together they shared their love with family and friends over many decades until Allan's passing in 2019. Peggy was a career educator, teaching in elementary school and positively impacting many lives along the way. She and Allan traveled the world and brought back many stories for family and friends. For the past several years, Peggy was a resident at The Evergreens in Moorestown, New Jersey where she had an active lifestyle with her many friends and where she will be dearly missed.

A funeral service for Peggy will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 11AM at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 100 Sawmill River Road, Hawthorne, NY 10532 followed by a graveside service at Mount Eden Cemetery, 20 Commerce Street, Hawthorne NY 10532.
