Ruth Syrop passed away in the arms of her beloved husband of 69 years, Herbert Syrop. Ruth will be missed by her children, Mitchell, of Los Angeles, CA, and Jackie, of Lawrenceville NJ, her daughter-in-law Lorraine Kirsten, and son-in-law David Beckett, and her grandchildren Laszlo, Veronika, Joe, and Sam. Ruth was a long-time resident of Yonkers, NY, and taught second grade at Public School 30 for many years. She was much loved by the children she taught and she loved them like they were her own. Ruth loved wilderness, birds, dogs, and swimming at Efner Lake in upstate New York. We will miss her
