In loving memory of Sylvia Bernholz, who peacefully passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 90. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Harold, and is now reunited with him. She is survived by her daughter Pam (Mark), son Neil (Julie), and grandchildren Jared, Dylan, Tyler, and Nicole, who she loved beyond measure. She is also survived by step-grandchildren Aurora, Max, and Ben, whom she held dear. Sylvia is further survived by her cherished sister-in-law Rita, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.
A funeral service for Sylvia will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Riverside Memorial Chapel – Hawthorne, 100 Saw Mill River Rd, Hawthorne, New York 10532. Following the service, a committal will take place at Montefiore Cemetery, 121-83 Springfield Blvd., Springfield Gardens, NY.
The period of mourning (Shiva) will be observed on Thursday, June 5, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Monarch Coopers Corner, 11 Mill Road, New Rochelle, NY 10804.
