
Eppinger, Theodore F. on October 10, 2015, age 89. Beloved husband to the late Ella. Survived by son Barry, daughter-in-law Tina Marie, and son Ronald, and cherished grandchildren Melissa, Jennifer, Gregory and Nicole. He enlisted in the U S Navy right out of high school, and upon his discharge, began his career working in the Office of the Bronx District Attorney as a hearing reporter. In September 1951, he was appointed secretary to Hon. Albert Cohn, Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division, First Department. While working in the DA’s office, he attended pre-law classes at St. John’s University and graduated from New York Law School in 1954. He was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney in 1956, and retired in 1968 as Senior Trial Assistant and Chief of the Indictment Bureau. He went out and practiced law in the private sector as founding partner of Eppinger, Reingold & Korder, in Larchmont and Westchester Square, New York. He practiced continuously in the Bronx County Courthouse, and for many years, served as counsel to Dollar Savings Bank. He served as Secretary of the Chippewa Democratic Club, and was a long-time member of the New York State and Bronx County Bar Associations.
