Winifred Cove

Winifred Clarice Cove, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2015 at the Wartburg Nursing Home in Mount Vernon, NY. Her husband Samuel Jacob Cove predeceased her in 1990. She is survived by her son, Peter Cove and her daughter-in-law Lee Bowes, both of New York, NY, as well as her son-in-law Rick Palmer of Swampscott, MA. Her daughter Leslie passed away in 2013. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Louis, Amanda, David, Gregory, Antonia and Dirrane and three great grandchildren. Wini spent the majority of her life as a resident of Marblehead, MA. Wini was a person who passed no judgement on others and was a friend to many. She attributed her long life to having a 3 ounce martini every night at 5:00 PM and waking up each morning with a positive attitude. She was an avid reader, lover of animals, and music aficionado. She also had a marvelous sense of humor, and following her husbands death became a notorious flirt. She will be missed. A graveside ceremony will be held at Sharon Memorial Park on Tuesday, April 21st at 11:45 AM.
