Zelda Newman, 92, of Boca Raton, Florida and Jericho, New York, passed away on May 9, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 27, 1924. Zelda was married to her beloved late husband Justin Newman for 68 years, and had two children: her late son Irwin Newman (Jane), and daughter Joanne Peyser (the late Howard Peyser and Robert Bresler). She is survived by her grandchildren GeriBeth Newman, Ben Newman (Pam), Harris Newman (Martina), Alison Peyser and Ross Peyser. In addition, she leaves behind four great grandchildren, Bradley, Garrett, Emily and Andrew. Funeral arrangements will be held on May 14th at 10am at Riverside Memorial Chapel in Mount Vernon, NY. Interment to follow at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla, NY. Shiva will be observed at the home of Joanne Peyser.
