When I was a freshman on the Geneseo cheer team, Zoë was a senior. I vividly remember her kindness and warmth each and every day, both on and off the mat. She cared deeply for those around her and brought countless smiles to people’s faces. She was an amazing role model whom I deeply admired. She will be greatly missed by many.

Dear family and friends of Zoe,
Zoe is now an angel just like the angel she was on earth. She watched over everybody and now her soul is with God. I wish she could have found peace for herself in this life, but something beyond her ability to find that peace took hold of her and took her from us much too early. We mourn for her family and her friends, but mostly for the future that was stolen from her. May she be for a blessed memory, and may we remember her smile, her generosity and her exuberance, above all her goodness.

I had the privilege of being able to call Zoë my best friend, we grew up together, have seen each other through so many ups and downs and were able to see us grow into the woman we are today. No matter how much distance we had in-between us we knew our friendship would always remain the same even when we both left for college every time we would see each other  it would be like no time had passed. One of my fondest memories was very recently when we were able to celebrate  her 25th birthday as we went out for hibachi and it felt like old times as if we were back in high school again. She also recently came up with us to Kingston to celebrate Marissa's birthday and I was able to do her makeup, a small gesture but it made me so happy seeing how happy it made her to be dolled up looking back its the small moments that can be the most meaningful. Zoë cared for others above herself, she was so kind generous and always a person who could help talk you through anything. Love you forever Zo.
