Frank Donald Hadley was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 29, 1927. He joined the Navy and served on the P.T. Boat called “Sandy” during World War II. After serving his country, Frank married Patricia Conklin in 1950 and lived in the Milwaukee and Kenosha area working for Yule Trucking. Frank moved to the north country and purchased a small marina in 1967. He later established the Round Lake Marina in Hayward, WI. After suffering a major stroke in 1978 Frank continued to live a full and productive life in the Hayward area. He became an important part of the Fran Mar Apartments and Hayward Senior Center for 28 years. Frank will be remembered for enjoying life to the fullest and he will be missed by his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his six children; Mike (Michelle) Hadley, Ann Berard, Nancy Hadley, Jim Hadley, Susan (Dan Kiuimaki) Hadley, Tom Hadley; thirteen grandchildren, Jason (Jody), Jenny (Aaron), Zach (Kjersten), Jacob, Jessica, Paige, Brandon, Graham (Tara), Ashley, Aaron, Samantha, Sidney, and Sarah; eight great grandchildren, Olive, Sy, Ira, Gabriella, Henry, Kayden, Braxton, Deagan and soon to be born,Wyatt.
A memorial gathering will be held at Fran Mar Apartments on Monday, October 17th at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hayward Senior Center.
