Frank Guenter Schmidt

Frank G. Schmidt, age 56, of Trego, WI passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at his home.

Frank Guenter Schmidt was born September 16, 1954 in Chicago, IL the son of Guenter and Lilly (Juhl) Schmidt. He graduated from high school in Barrington, IL and then went to work in appliance repair. Frank worked with several people before starting his own business, Northland Electronics. He enjoyed his work and specialized in fixing refrigerators. He enjoyed cooking and traveling, and was a former member of the Hayward City Fire Dept.

Frank is survived by his two sons, Ryan (Sarah) Schmidt of Manitowoc, WI, Jordan (Jolene Kuhl) Schmidt of St. Cloud, MN; two grandchildren, Aidan and Avery; mother, Lilly Schmidt of Hayward; one sister, Heidi (Jeff) Cain of Hayward; and several nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guenter.

A memorial service for Frank will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, at Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home in Hayward with Pastor Scott Ludford officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Northwoods Humane Society, PO Box 82, Hayward, WI 54843.
