Keith lived most of his adult life in Cable, WI, with his wife, Judith and their three sons. He was born in Sioux Falls, SD to Clifford and Bernadeen on August 13, 1942, suddenly passing into spirit on May 14, 2014.
The family moved to several mid-western cities and Keith attended college at Valparaiso, IN, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering. Previous to that he proudly served in the United States Navy on a destroyer, then in Viet Nam, where he was severely wounded.
His engineering career brought him to northern Wisconsin where he thoroughly enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling and boating and where he met and then married Judith Pederson.
Changing careers, he worked many years as a real estate broker and as Cable's
constable. He then established a tree and “gourmet wood” business, Benedict and Sons Tree Service.
Keith is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judith, his sons, Brian (Kim Vogel), Josh, and Cliff (Melisa) and Vernae (Klay) Larsen, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; his brother, Tedd (Sharon), sister Pam (Roger) Johnson and so many in-laws and friends, all of whom love and miss him.
