

Kimberly Eytcheson was born March 29, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Robert and Lorraine Eytcheson. Kim was raised in Hayward and graduated from high school there. She went to college for a short time and then joined the U.S. Army and served from February 1, 1977 to January 31, 1980. While in the service she was an Army photographer Spec. 4 and served in Korea. She earned the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and was listed as a Marksman with the rifle. After her time in the Army, Kim moved to Sacramento, CA where she worked as a caregiver for homebound individuals. While in Sacramento she met Jack C. Gill and on February 10, 1987 they were joined in marriage. Kim and Jack lived in Sacramento, River Side and San Diego, CA before moving to Hayward, WI in 1997. Kim would volunteer at the Hayward Library, reading to children, and the Hayward Nursing Home, assisting the residents.
Kim is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jack; parents, Robert and Lorraine Eytcheson of Hayward; three brothers, Scott (Dawn) Eytcheson of Hayward, Raymond Eytcheson of Eau Claire, WI, Robert Eytcheson Jr. of Hayward; one sister, Jean (Verle) Tworek of Eau Claire, WI; step-children, Matthew Gill, Donald Gill, David Gill and Virginia Gill, all of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Military honors will be accorded for Kimberly at noon on Wednesday, June 18th, at Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home in Hayward. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
