Phyllis Miller

Phyllis Marie Miller 79, of Hayward died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Care Partners Assisted Living.

Phyllis Marie was born November 27, 1934 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the daughter of James and Raphael Mary (Inzeo) Venes. She was raised in the Waukesha area and graduated from Waukesha South High School. She was joined in marriage to Richard C. Miller on March 3, 1956. In 1977, Richard “Porky” and Phyllis moved to the Hayward area where she worked in administration at Valley Health Care and Risburg Reality.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Jodi Miller Riemer (Jase) of Horicon, WI and Jim Miller (Bridget Salzman) of Hayward; five grandchildren, Riki Pierson, Zachary Miller, James Riemer, Joshua Riemer, and Jennifer Anundson; seven great-grandchildren, Brooke, Jordan, Lilah, Mason, Jada, Olivia, and Sadie Kay; a brother, George (Betty) Venes, and a sister, Roselyn Bliffert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Raphael Venes; her husband, Richard “Porky” Miller on February 3, 1999; and her sister, Marie Monfre.

Visitation services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday January 4th,2014 at the Wesleyan Church, 10655 Nyman Avenue, Hayward, WI. A reception will follow the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, monies will be directed to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Partners In Hope) or the Alzheimer's Association.
