When someone passes away at an early age, I am left devastated and can't help thinking how unfair life can be. I have known Alexander since he was a little boy and remember what a fun and charming little chap he was. That wonderful character never changed and most who knew him will remember the easy going, gentle and fun man that he turned out to be. I was disappointed not to be able to attend the service but will keep Alex in my thoughts forever.

How NOT to learn driving a manual transmission
I met Alex shortly after arriving at Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, TX. We lived in the dormitories together for about 6-months before I was allowed to move into an apartment. Alex never had a car but it didn't stop him from talking me into picking him up from the base or whereever to hangout at the mall, dinner, or at my house. I remember one day where he showed up at my apartment all high and mighty with a BIG smile on his face and announced that he had bought a NEW car. He talked me into coming out to the parking lot to see it and insisted that I test drive it...unfortunately, it was more of a driving lesson for him because he got a great deal on a brand new GEO Storm but it had a manual transmission. I gave him a few lessons and then let him drive me around the main street there (Knickerbocker Road)all the while as he was grinding his gears.

Yvette, I have not had the honor of meeting you in person but I know that if you were married to Alex you are a person of great character! I've been searching my memory to figure out how I met Alex but I don't remember, doesn't matter because he was part of my life and I considered him a life long friend. It has been amazing to reconnect with him after all these years. I will always remember Alex and all the great times we shared when whilehe was in the Air Force; the conversations, banter, complaints at that desolate place we called home--Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Texas. Alex, rest in peace my friend, I will miss you and our conversations but especially your gentle spirit, you never had anything bad to say about anyone.

Yvette, I am so shocked and saddend that I am at a loss for words.Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers... When I think of Alex, I am so thankful for his talent as a photographer. Because of him, I have many photgraphic memories of the happiest day of my life. I'm here if you need anything...

Pauline we are so sorry to hear about your son Alexander. I know the sorry you have and will have for a long time. There is nothing I can say to help the pain and sorry. Pauling only God can help in some small way to see you through the sorry that lays ahead. A song, a thought, pictures, words we wish we would have said to tell them we love them so much. when i met alex it was the early nineties, he was working at walmart in perris along side my ex wife soon we became friends and he would come over and hang out, we were both airman and love the game of basketball. so after we would watch micheal jordan dominate the court and his opponents we would lace up our hi tops and give the game a try, we figured michael can do it why can't we. our group included roz and joe now watching us play basketball was a nightmare we had no talent what so ever!!! now our trash talking consisted if alex's green little geo prism that he would squeeze into after the game and his butt defense, he would back you all the way to the net and you couldn't stop it just like charles barkley . alex will always be a clipper fan so my friend i will keep and eye on blake griffin for you. miss you my friend.
