Alice Barbara Maynard 10/15/1914 – 02/15/2011 Alice was born on October 15, 1914 in Oklahoma . She married Glen Maynard in 1932 and moved to California in 1938. They had a son, Larry Maynard in 1941. Alice worked in a alfalfa field but eventually worked for Vons for 34 years. Nana as she was known to those who loved her, was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ . She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Glen Maynard, her only son Larry Maynard, her parents and all of her 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Irene Maynard of Hemet , CA ; 3 grandsons, Robert Maynard of Roseville , CA , Michael Maynard of Moreno Valley , CA and Steve Maynard of Hemet , CA ; 1 granddaughter, Lynn (Maynard) Nord of Hemet, CA and 10 great-grandchildren. Alice passed away peacefully beside her family. Services will be held at Church of Christ Mission Viejo California 26558 Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo on Sunday February 20, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Entrusted to the care of McWane Family Funeral Home.
