Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2019 in Orange, California; she was born on February 12, 1980 in Waukegan, Illinois to Roland and Nancy (Jachim) Hachey.
Amanda was the Area Director of Infection Prevention for Kindred Healthcare. She loved the medicl field and has worked as a part of it since she was 15 years old. She loved the outdoors. Her favorite spots were Ocotillo Wells and Glamis North. We camped, we hiked and we rode our side by sides. She loved sitting by the campfires at night and roasting marshmallows. Every opportunity she had, she would try to spend helping others both in the medical field and with Micelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, whether it was training, educating or providing support to others diagnosed with cancer. Although she loved training, educating and supporting others, her biggest passion in life was spending time with her family. She was honored to be a member of the Valley Christian Fellowship family of Menifee. She loved that church and they loved her.
Amanda is survived by her loving husband Paul; her children, Kaleb Ra Mancilla and Elexys Virginia Billings; her parents, Roland and Nancy Hachey; and her sister Alisa Vann.
There will be a visitation on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 4-8pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, Ca 92586. A Celebration of Amanda’s Life will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 10am at Miller-Jones Mortuary, with Pastor Derek Greenhalgh officiating.
