Andrew Sylvester Caballero, 89 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at home surrounded by family. He was born Tuesday, November 30, 1926, and was the son of the late Ralph and Celestine Caballero. He was married to the love of his life Mary Lou Pena Caballero for many years before she passed away August 28, 2009. Andrew was a proud member of the US Army and served from 1945 until 1952. He worked in the Aerospace industry for over 37 years for many companies like Hughes and McDonald Douglas. In his spare time he liked to make leather products and copper punch outs. He liked to golf and enjoyed working with Mary Lou in the garden. His family describe him as being gentle, kind hearted and very giving. He will be sorely missed by those family and friends that loved him. Surviving are sons, Anthony Caballero and his wife Bobbi and Larry Caballero and his wife Lucy, 5 grand children, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild..
A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518.
