

Andrew Henson (Andy) passed away on April 19, 2011 in Moreno Valley, California at the age of 72. Andy was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 10, 1938. While living in Corpus Christi, Andy met a young woman named Mary Henson and she became the love of his life and soon went on to become his bride and lovely wife for the next 51 years! Andy was introduced into the meat cutting business. He gained an interest in the trade and he became a meat cutting journeyman. He maintained this chosen profession for the rest of working life. He primarily enjoyed the work because it allowed him to interact with people daily and that was important to him. Andy's true passion was love itself. His jubilant personality was infectious. All who knew Andy speak of his genuine, loving heart. He demonstrated this love on a daily basis to all those he came into contact with. He was never selfish with his love and he was willing to assist anyone in need. The amount of love that dissipated from Andy is a rare commodity these days. Andy was also instrumental in teaching his family how to love. All of his children and grand children have that sweet, pure, innocent love that Andy possessed. It will be that amazing love that absolutely radiates from Andy that will be missed the most! He loved his family unconditionally. It was his wife and children that brought Andy happiness each day of his life. Next, the addition of his grandchildren is what inspired Andy and left his heart smiling each and every day. --"Go with God Papa Andy, we love you. You'll always be in our hearts!"� Survivors include his wife Mary Henson in Moreno Valley; 6 children, Rose Castro of Riverside, Anthony Henson of Rancho Santa Margarita, Joseph Henson and his wife Denise of Moreno Valley, Adrian Henson and his wife Bridgett of Tustin, Susanna and her husband Eric Rogers of Rancho Santa Margarita, Steve Henson of Moreno Valley; 10 grandchildren, Anthony Henson Jr, Damien, Adrian, Kiera, Madison, Carter, Chloe, Emerica, Jeric, Cherickee. Additional survivors include sisters Mrs. Josie Keys, Mrs. Margie Tovar, and brothers Freddie Flores and Robert Flores. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Ca., where a Visitation will be held on Thursday April 28, 2011 from 11am-1pm and Monday, May 2, 2011 from 9am-10:15am. Service is scheduled at 11am at St. Christophers Catholic Church, Moreno Valley.Internment will follow at 12:30 at the Olivewood Cemetery.
