Anna Mae (Ames) McCurdy, born July 5, 1931 in Chinook, MT, passed away on February 15, 2016. She moved to San Clemente, CA in 1945 with her parents. Then, in 2001 she moved to Hemet. Annie was the youngest of 11 children and is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth D. McCurdy, one brother, Jim Bill Ames, six children, Terri (John) Hildreth of Madison, AL, Linda Pidgeon of Hemet, Pam McCurdy of Hemet, Doug (Dawn) McCurdy of Wildomar, CA, Patricia (Sam) Crum of Hemet, and Janet McCurdy of Hemet, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vivian Ames and 9 siblings. Annie was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
