Born Monday, April 7, 1919 in Elgin, Illinois, he was the son of the late Charles Winchester and the late Augusta Schmid Winchester.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Helen. They shared a wonderful life together; both enjoyed an active life in the Church. Arnold enjoyed boating, water skiing, softball, fishing, volleyball and his wife's musical involvements.
He served in the Army during WW11.
Surviving are sons, Bruce Winchester and Jack Winchester; 5 grand children; 5 great grand children.
.A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 600 Summer Ave Lake Elsinore, Ca on April 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM, which would have been Arnold's 92 birthday. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA at a later date.
