July 25, 1944 – July 24, 2026
Aurora Dela Rosa, a beacon of boundless love, warmth, and resilience, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, just one day shy of her 82nd birthday. Born in the Philippines on July 25, 1944, Aurora made Southern California, her cherished home, touching the lives of everyone she met with her remarkable grace and generous spirit.
As the oldest of seven siblings—Boy, Evelyn, Caridad, Pio, Cesar, and Malou—Aurora naturally stepped into the role of a lifelong caregiver, protector, and guide. Her heart knew no bounds when it came to family. Even in the face of life's deepest sorrows, including the heartbreaking loss of her beloved husband, Eddie, and three of her sons, Paolo, Kit, and Abet, her strength never wavered. With a profound sense of devotion, she poured her energy into helping care for her grandchildren, ensuring they were surrounded by unending love and stability.
To know Aurora was to feel completely cared for. She had a deeply nurturing soul, always placing the needs of her family and friends above her own. Yet, amidst her quiet strength and selflessness, she brought immense joy to every room she entered. She loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family, and her infectious, joyful laugh could instantly brighten even the cloudiest of days.
Aurora was a devoted spouse, a loving parent, a proud grandparent, a treasured Aunt, and a loyal friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She is lovingly remembered by her surviving children, Poochie and Eddie Boy, her eleven cherished grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, as well as an extended circle of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
She has now been joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Eddie, her sons Paolo, Kit, and Abet, and her parents who welcomed her home.
