Passed away peacefully on September 23, 2018 in Bakersfield, California; she was born on December 23, 1926 in San Bernardino, California to the late Ellsworth and Lillian (O'Brien) Minner.
Barbara loved to garden, knit and work crossword puzzles. She worked for Wessons Foods for 25 years.
She is survived by her loving family, her son Dennis (Susie) Bossaert; thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Walter, whom passed in 1996 and her daughter Susan Gourley.
There will be a Celebration of life on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 10:30am at Miller-Jones Mortuary 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, California, with interment to follow at Murrieta Valley Cemetery.
