Barbara May Curran, 78 of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Pacific Pines in Redlands, California . She was born on Thursday, September 8, 1938 in Topeka, Kansas, and was the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth Montgomery. She loved to look for a bargain and was known to visit garage sales and thrift stores. Barbara had a keen eye and was able to pick out real value for things she found. There were some items that turned out not to be treasures but most of the things she found had value. Barbara loved to make home made tacos. She also enjoyed reading the bible. Her family describes her as family oriented, caring and showed unconditional love to her two children. Surviving are her son, Michael Gonthier ( Debra) , daughter, Sharon L. Mak ( Alan) , sisters, Mary Scatamacchia ( John ) and Carol Gonger; 1 grand child; 3 great grand children. Services will be private.
