Barbara enjoyed reading novels by Debbie Macomber, and she read the bible regularly. She also enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Show and Christian television programs, and was a big fan of Billy Graham. She was a long-time member of the Cornerstone Church in Hemet.
She also loved to cook.
Surviving are husband, Henderson Prince, daughter, Judy Straus, adopted daughter, Diana Touney-Geisen, grandchild, Jayson Wood and adopted grandchildren, Mary Tourney, Marissa Tourney, Jason Geisen.
She was preceded in death by son, Stephen Prince and brothers, Paul Spicer, Harold Spicer.
The family will have a visitation on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Miller-Jones Mortuary Chapel, 1501 W.Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA. A service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 16, at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA.
