Bernadette L. Townsend passed away quietly Monday morning on January 27th at Hemet Valley Hospital. She was born in Norwich, Connecticut on April 20th, 1943 the daughter of Germaine and Adelard Lavoie. She was a longtime Hemet, CA resident. Bernadette had been employed as a Medical Records Clerk for Menifee Hospital, Riverside Community Hospital and Knowllwood Center. Bernadette was married happily to the late George E. Townsend. Bernadette’s hobbies over the years included gardening, camping, traveling, fishing and loved listening to music. Bernadette was loving to her family, she was always proud and encouraging of her children, grandchildren and friends. She was a devoted friend to everyone. She was bighearted, caring, genuine and loyal. She opened her heart to everyone. We will love her forever. She is survived by two children Martin R. Ferguson of Riverside, CA and Debra L.
