

Betty Marie Funderburk, 73 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. She was born on Thursday, January 13, 1944 by the late Harold and Iva Mae Jackson. Betty was married to the love of her life Frank Funderburk for 26 wonderful years. Betty's passion was animals, she has a Blue Gold Macaw named Elvis, two Yorkies and a bingo cat names Boots. She was known to help rescue animals and bring them back to health when needed. Betty could be found making donations to animal shelters when there was a need. Betty was also able to care for people in need, she worked in the Health Care industry for 15 years. Frank and Betty enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and took many cruises; Betty was a world traveler in her younger years. Her family described her as generous, caring, witty, and she was known to share her opinion. Surviving is her husband Frank Funderburk, son David Vickers and his wife Linda, daughters Debbie Jackson-Cole, Collette Snyder and her husband Doug and Christina LaClair and her wife Danielle LaClair, brothers Jack Jackson, Jim Jackson, Billy Jackson, and sister Rose Gorbett, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
