Betty Lou Tusant

She was born on October 19, 1929, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Frances and Jim Hedding. She was wed to Joseph Tusant on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1949, at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Des Moines, Iowa. Betty retired from the Retail Clerk's Union 324. Betty was also active in the Eastern Star with her husband Joe. They were 50 year members in Menifee Valley and Fallbrook Chapters. Betty went through the lines twice serving as Worthy Matron. She was Organist in Menifee Valley Chapter 2007 until 2012, when she had to leave the Organist office due to health problems. Betty was Grand representative to the State of Oregon, in California. She retired from her employment to Garden Grove, then to Buena Park, and lastly to Wildomar, in 1986 to present.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years; her eldest son, Joe Tusant, of Menifee; her younger son, John Tusant, of Sun City; her grandchildren, Christopher Tusant, Brandon Tusant, Richard Tusant, Tabetha Tusant, and Jordan Tusant; and her great-grandchildren, Nicky Tusant, Kylie Tusant, and Reece Tusant.
