Billie Max Chandler, age 86, of Lancaster, CA, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013, at Merrill Gardens in Lancaster, CA. Billie was born December 29, 1926 in Hamboldt, TN. He was the son of the late Richard Chandler and the late Katherine (Yandell) Chandler. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII receiving a Victory Medal. He worked for Ralphs Grocery for 43 years. Billie was preceded in death by his wife Florence Chandler.
He is survived by her children Virginia Noel of Las Vegas NV; Ronald & wife Nola Chandler of Canyon Country CA; Gail & husband Paul Sabourin of Palmdale CA; Keith & wife Pamela Chandler of Palmdale CA: nine grandchildren & three great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave, Hemet, CA.
A celebration of life will be on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM, at Desert Vineyard Church in Lancaster California.
