

Blanca Julia Encinas Gomez, 79 of Hemet, California, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Blanca was born Tuesday, April 12, 1938 in Sonora, Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Juan Marquez Encinas and the late Mariana Rojas Ramos Encinas. She grew up with her siblings, Bobby Encinas, Martha Lopez, Delia Valdez, Sylvia Cortez, Rosa Valenzuela, Idalia Palacios, Elvia Encinas, Johnny Encinas, Ricardo Encinas, and Maria Jesus Cruz.
Blanca came to the United States at the age of 16, where she worked as a babysitter for a family. In 1957 she married the love of her life Pablo Gomez, who she had 6 wonderful children with, Paul Gomez, Lydia Zamora, Tony Gomez, Lisa Coniglio, John Gomez, youngest daughter Rosemary Gomez, and created a strong bond with her sister in law Virginia Bastidas. Blanca was a strong and independent woman, and mother who worked very hard to support her family as a self-employed realtor. She was a woman of god who attended Our Lady of the Valley and The Holly Spirit Catholic Church in Hemet, California every Sunday. Blanca was not only devoted to family and god she was very supportive towards many charities and donated money to help these organizations. She also loved animals, she had roosters, a beautiful peacock, birds and four dogs. She loved family trips, long walks and jazzercise. She was definitely a pleasant and amazing woman who was loved by many.
